Corals are cut to differing proportions, depending on the shape of the "rough" coral branch that the cutter is working with. Some Jyotish corals are wider and longer, relative to their height while some are cut higher with narrower width and/or shorter length. This is why some corals with smaller "face-up" dimension weigh more than ones that have larger "face-up" dimension.
