All corals on this page are guaranteed natural, undyed, unenhanced Vedic coral selected to fulfil your Jyotish recommendation.

Regarding color: the most highly valued coral is "oxblood" color--deep, strong red color.

As the amount of orange increases in coral, the cost declines. I've been advised by Jyotish Pandits that orange color is suitable for women and that men should choose coral that has less orange tint.

The vast majority of coral available in the market has significant clarity imperfections, including large holes and severe fractures. Such coral is not acceptable for Jyotish recommendations and does not qualify as Vedic coral. Each coral on this page has been examined and graded to the highest standards of Vedic gemology.                        

Coral is an organic gem and always shows some natural patterning. The less patterning that's visible to the unaided eye, the better the coral. Strongly visible natural growth patterning reduces the cost of Vedic coral.
